He died of a Tonsil Operation on the 4 May 1924[2], in his hometown, at the age of 9 and was buried 5 April 1924[3] in the Kamo Cemetery - Kamo, Northland, New Zealand, Block V Section 5 Plot 9 [No Headstone][4]
