Biography

Timothy James McVeigh (April 23, 1968 – June 11, 2001) was an American terrorist convicted and executed for the detonation of a truck bomb in front of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City on April 19, 1995, which killed 168 people.

McVeigh was born in Lockport, New York, the only son and the second of three children of Mildred "Mickey" Noreen (née Hill) and William McVeigh.

McVeigh was executed by lethal injection on June 11, 2001, at the Federal Correctional Complex in Terre Haute, Indiana.

I assume that he must have been given a DNA test sometime between arrest and execution. They say that police DNA tests are not suitable for genealogical purposes but what about the tests that Ben Ladin's relatives were given before they were flown out for their own safety after 9/11. I assume those of a different kind than the ordinary crime suspect ones but would not at least current high profile suspects be given the more detailed one?
