Joseph McVey was an Arkansan.
Joseph Riley McVey was born on 5 August 1846 in McNairy County, Tennessee, United States, son of Joseph P McVey and Mary Ann (Mathis) McVey.
He married Pernetta Cornelia Ginn . Their children were:
