Biography

Annie Mccoy was born in 1865 in Pennsylvania, United States.^[1][2] Her parents were Alexander McCoy and Julia Kennedy. Her father, Alexander, was 20, and her mother, Julia, was 16 at the time of her birth.

Her brother John Patrick was born on March 4, 1867, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, when she was 1 year old. Her sister Mary J was born in 1868 in Pennsylvania when "Annie" was 3 years old. Her brother Alexander Joseph was born on November 12, 1871, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, when she was 5 years old. Her sister Mary Stella was born in July 1874 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, when Anna was 8 years old. Her brother Charles F was born on August 5, 1882, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, when she was 16 years old. Her sister Ellen Nellie was born in November 1882 in Pennsylvania when "Annie" was 17 years old. Her sister Julia C was born in November 1884 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, when shewas 19 years old.

In 1880, Annie was living with her parents and siblings in Philadelphia, working in a shoe factory. ^[4]

Annie married Charles J McDermott in 1888 in her hometown of Philadelphia. She was 23 years old at the time of her marriage to Charles. They had four children during their marriage. Her daughter Laura R was born in February 1889. Her son Charles J was born in August 1890. Her daughter Mary A was born in October 1891, and her daughter May was born in 1893. All of their children were born in Philadelphia.

Her father Alexander passed away on April 26, 1906, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at the age of 61. Her mother Julia passed away on January 26, 1917, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at the age of 67.

Her brother Charles F died on September 28, 1926. Her brother Charles F died on September 28, 1926. Her sister Julia C died on October 21, 1930. Her brother John Patrick died on April 6, 1937

Her son Charles J Jr., passed away on January 5, 1937.

Her husband Charles J Sr., passed away in November 11, 1941 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at the age of 76. They had been married 53 years. She died on November 9, 1942, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at the age of 76, and was buried there in the New Cathedral Cemetery, 2nd & Butler Streets.
