Biography

Alma was born on 3 October 1913 in Casey County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Erm (Erin) McDonald.^[1]

In 1920 Alma was living with her mother and younger brother Stacey in Patterson, Casey County, Kentucky.^[2]

Alma married Sam R. Chrisman (1913-1986) about 1935. Her first child, Mary L. Chrisman, was born in 1936.^[3]

In 1940 Alma was living with her husband, Sam, and children Charles R. (b 1937) and Elizabeth A. (b 1938) in Russell County, Kentucky. It appears as if Mary has died; she is not on the census.^[4]

Alma passed away on 13 May 1978^[5] and is buried in Fairview Memorial Cenemetery, Russell Springs, Russell County, Kentucky.^[6]
