Biography
James was born in 1906 in Swoyerville, Pennsylvania. His place of birth is on the marriage license, as is his father’s.
He passed away in 1976 in Florida where he had only lived since June, according to the obituary and dates on his grave memorial. He was buried in New Jersey, where he had lived and worked for most of his life, in Saint Gertrude Cemetery in Middlesex County. Mary Ann Cawley is also mentioned by name in the obituary.[1]
