Henry Mead was born on 24 June 1857 in Gosford, New South Wales, Australia, the son of Henry Mead and Mary (Yardley) Craft, the brother of John Craft [half], Matilda F (Craft) Hawkins [half], Joseph Craft [half], Edward Craft [half], Isaac Abraham Jacobs [half], Sarah Meed, Harriet (Mead) Taylor, Mary Mead and Edward Mead.
He married Helen Gibson Goldie on 16 June 1891 in Gosford, New South Wales, Australia and their children were Herbert Robert H Mead, Hilda Mead and Cyrus Mead.
Henry died on 11 July 1942 in Gosford, New South Wales, Australia.
