Biography

Varnum Balfour Mead was born in 1832 in Boxborough, Middlesex, Massachusetts, United States. He was the son of Nathaniel Mead and Lucy (Taylor) Mead. He married Martha Ann (Keyes) Mead on September 2, 1856 in Acton, Middlesex, Massachusetts, United States.[1] She passed away in 1858. He married Direxa Elizabeth (Stearns) Mead in 1859. He passed away in 1908 in Somerville, Middlesex, Massachusetts, United States.[2]

Mead-4274 and Mead-2787 appear to represent the same person because: Although they have two different spouses, they seem to be the same person with the same dates of birth and death. More research is needed.
