Charles Austin Mead was the son of Joseph Austin Mead and Bertha (Banks) Mead.
Charles was born on July 15, 1909 in Branchville, Connecticut.[1]
The 1910 US Census for Ridgefield, Connecticut shows a household headed by Joseph A. Mead (29) and containing wife Bertha B. Mead (22) and son Charles A. Mead (9 months).[2]
The 1920 US Census for Ridgefield, Connecticut shows a household headed by Joseph A. Mead (39) and containing wife Bertha B. Mead (31), son Charles A. Mead (10) and son Ernest L. Mead (7).[3]
The 1930 US Census for Ridgefield, Connecticut shows a household headed by Joseph Mead (49) and containing wife Bertha D. Mead (42), son Charles Mead (20) and son Ernest Mead (17).[4]
The 1940 US Census for Wilton, Connecticut shows a household headed by Charles Mead (2), with wife Ruth (26) and daughter Jannett (3). Charles' occupation was listed as laborer.[5]
Charles died in Norwalk, Connecticut on August 13, 1987. He was living at 100 River Road in Wilton at the time of his death.[6]
