Biography

John was born in 1745. He is the son of Israel Mead and Sarah Cutler.

He was in Westminster, Mass. as early as 1775 when his name first appears on the tax lists. He was subsequently in Hubbardston, but in Westminster, again in 1791 when he, with his wife and 9 children, was "warned out"^[1].
