Early Life Amelia M Mead [1] [2] was a daughter of Joshua Mead [1] [2] [3] and Sybil (Benjamin) Mead. [1] [2]

Amelia was born on 2 Aug 1803, [1] in Dutchess County, New York, [4] [5] [6] probably Amenia. These sources give dob as 1803. [3] [7]

Family Amelia and Jonathan I S Wood [1] [3] were married on 19 Jan 1843, at location unknown. No record of children has yet been found for Jonathan and Amelia. [5] Jonathan's marriage to Amelia was his second, the first to Delia Cole ended at her death in 1842.

Death and Legacy Amelia died on 30 Sep 1895, [3] [7] at age 92, in Albion, Orleans, New York. [3]

Amelia was buried in Mount Albion Cemetery in Albion, Orleans, New York. [7] Also buried in Mount Albion: her husband, Jonathan. [8] Jonathan's first wife, Delia, was buried in High Street Cemetery in Brockport, Monroe, New York. [9]
