Biography
Robert was born on 17 July 1845 in Perth, Western Australia.[1][2] He was the son of Henry Mead and Dorothy Leng.
He married Muriel Elizabeth Baldwin in 1873 in Fremantle.[3] They had nine children over twenty years.
Robert was a feller for Jarrahdale Timber Co. in 1884. He also worked as an orchardist and gardener at Jarrahdale (1889/9 AImanac).[2]

MEAD.-On August 27, 1923, at the Perth Hospital, Robert Mead, late of Jarrahdale, tho beloved husband of Elisabeth Mead, eldest son of the late Henry Mead, of Beenup, and fond father of Mrs. W. Miller, Mrs. R. Tonkin, Mrs. C. Pacey, and Messrs. George, Henry, James, and Walter Mead, aged 78 years.[4]
