Rachel and Seth were married at the New Canaan Church but Seth joined the new Canaan, Fairfield county, Connecticut Church on Feb 6, 1820, and was baptized as an adult on that day. On Feb 25, 1820 the following children of Rachel and Seth were baptized: Caroline, Clarissa, Cynthia, Harriet, Rachel and Samuel. Son Seth was baptized Nov 30, 1823.[1]
