Richard died intestate in Wayne county, NY. Letters of Administration were issued to Thomas W. Mead & Hezekiah C. Post on 27 Feb 1837.

I appoint as Executors: Richard T. Mead and Charles Hoag, also guardians to my daughter Mary Ann...in witness whereof I set my hand and seal 15 Oct 1812.
