Biography
Sally Meade was born about 1798, in Pittsylvania county, Virginia. Sally was the daughter of James Meade and Rosamon Adams.
Sally married Elkanah Adams on the 8th of November, 1808 in Pittsylvania county, Virginia.[1]
Sally is named in the will of her father, James Meade as follows: "James Mead Last Will and Testament . . . I give unto my daughter Sally Adams $30. 5. . . . In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 4th day of January in the year 1817. [signed] James his X mark Meade . . ."[2]
Sally passed away about 1850.[3]
