Obituary:
Paul Meador, 72, of Route 5, Des Moines, who died Thursday in an auto accident, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Hamilton's Funeral Home. Burial will be at Lowman Cemetery near Runnells.
Mr. Meador, who was born at Red Rock, had lived in Des Moines two years. He had been a section foreman on the Wabash Railroad for 20 years, and was later a guard at Meredith Publishing Co.
He was a World War I veteran and a member of the northeast branch of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Surviving are his wife, Thelma; four daughters, Mrs. Gladys Ohnemus of Melcher, Mrs. Dorothy Miller of Independence, Mrs. Alice Conklin of Newton, and Mrs. Nadine Losee of Des Moines; three sons, Don, Keith and Wayne, all of Des Moines; 31 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two stepsons, David Carmer of Des Moines and Larry Carmer of Anchorage, Alaska; six step-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Iva Crossen, of Sylvus, Ill., and a step-great-grandchild.
