Samuel D. Meador, 75 years old, was buried in the city cemetery of Midlothian following funeral services Monday afternoon. mr. Meador died at the home of his son Benton M. Meador of Waxhachie last Saturday night, after a prolonged illness.
He is survived by seven sons and daughters; Benton Meador and C.M. Meador of Waxahachie; Will Meador of Midlothian; Mrs. J.R. Taylor or Reagor Springs; Mrs. J.A. Lawrence of Ferris; Mrs. G.M. Fooshee of Wheeler and Mrs. R.L. Clanton of Norman, Ok.
Mr. Meador was born in macon county, Tenn., July 3, 1927. In 1875 he married Miss Sarah L. Cook. Some years later they came to texas where they made their home.
