On 20 March 1825 in Sumner County, Tennessee, Jesse married Mary D Austin [3] The bondsman on the license was Moses H Henry. [4] Jesse and "Polly" were the parents of two daughters, Martha and Malvina. [5]
Jesse appears in the 1830 census records for Sumner County with his wife and one daughter under five.[6] Jesse was granted land on Bledsoe Creek of Sumner County as the assignee of Moses Henry on 30 January 1844. [7]
Jesse and his family are recorded in District 13 of Sumner County census records for 1850. [8]
Jesse wrote and signed his will on 13 January 1853. [9] An inventory of his estate was taken on 8 November 1853 in Sumner County, Tennessee. [10] The settlement of his estate was made at May 1855 term of Sumner County court. [11]
Jesse Meador died 15 October 1853 in Sumner County, Tennessee. [1] He was buried in Carter Cemetery.
