Biography

Andrew Meadows was born on December 14, 1817^[1], in Kings Sutton, Northamptonshire, England, and baptized at Newbottle Parish on December 25, 1817.^[2] He was the son of Andrew Thomas Meadows and Catherine Wilkens.

He married Rosetta Brandow by license at Talbot Lake, Ontario, on March 19, 1843.^[3] The couple had six children. Andrew and Rosetta were living in Walsingham in 1852, with their first four children, and (likley) two of Rosetta's brothers in the same house, with a possible third brother and his family, next door.^[4] Andrew Meadows died on August 12, 1859, in Walsingham Township, Norfolk County, Ontario, Canada.^[5]
