Harry Edward Meadows married Elma Ethelwyn Gerard in 1941 in VIctoria[3][4]

Marriage: The Advertiser (Adelaide, SA : 1931 - 1954) Tue 30 Dec 1941 Page 10 - GERARD—MEADOWS.—The marriage of Elma elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. Marshall Gerard, of Franklin, to Petty-Officer Harry Meadows. R.A.N., second son of Mr. and the late Mrs. Charles Meadows, of Peterborough, will take place at Scots Church. Melbourne, on December 31. 1941.[5]

Harry Edward Meadows was an electrical engineer. He married Elma, and they settled in Port Augusta, South Australia, Australia where Harry was a chief engineer in charge of the day-to-day operations at one of the two (A - B) large coal-burning power stations that serviced a large area of the State of South Australia.

In later years, Harry developed tumor cancers in his head, they were removed and he underwent treatment to achieve and maintain remission, however after a few years he again developed the same type of tumors and this was the beginning of the end. It was a saddening and terrible tragedy!

To this day I am 100% convinced these cancers were caused through Harry having been exposed to large electrical radiation emissions for an extended period, at the power station facility above-mentioned, that he managed.

Today there is much evidence that supports these tumor cancers are caused through exposure to large electrical radiation emissions.

Harry passed away in 1998 and is buried in the Stirling North Garden Cemetery, Port Augusta, South Australia. He is buried with Elma[6]

Uncle Harry MEADOWS was in charge of the Port Augusta POWER STATION. I recall going there for a holiday. It was about 1958, with my parents, and we met my second cousin Margy. While staying with them, we swam in an inlet creek connecting into the Spencer Gulf at Port Augusta.
