Biography
Henry, born at Low Street, Banff, was the son of Christina Booth and George Mearns.
In 1883, Henry married Helen Jane Mathison Adams.
By the time of the 1891 Census Henry and Helen had 3 children, Margaret (Maggie) 6, Christian 4 and George aged 1.
Henry and his family lived at Catherine Street, Banff and he was employed as a Printer & Compositor. They moved after 1891 to 8 Castle Street perhaps to accommodate the family of 6 children. Maggie is now 16 and eldest sister to Christina Booth 14, George 11, Robert Bruce 9, Helen 6 and Henry Jr aged 3. 1
