Biography
Mary (listed as Marie) married William Hilferink at the age of 21 on 18 Oct 1922 in Dutton, MI. [1].[2] Her brother John was the pastor at Dutton Christian Reformed Church, having been ordained there the previous month. He is listed as the officiant performing the ceremony.
The 1940 census shows them living in Grand Rapids[3][4] at 748 Griggs SE. William (43) and Marie (39) with children Mary (16), Grace (15), Lois (13), Babara (12), and Helen (9).

Death
She died in 1983[5] in a nursing home in Grand Rapids, at the age of 82. Her obituary lists her name as Mrs. Mary P, Hilferink.
