Biography

Stephen de Meinell (d. under age on 09 Mar 1218/9 - d. bef. 16 Jul 1269), was s. & h. of Robert de Meinill (d. bef. 30 Jan 1206/7) and Emma, dau. of Richard Malebisse. His wife's name is unknown,[1] but Ord (1846) claimed she was Sybil.[2] This was probably a conflation with Stephen de Meinell (d. aft. 1145).
