Graduated from Livonia, MI Stevenson High School in 1988, cum laude. Graduated from University of Michigan College of Literature, Science & the Arts (LS&A) in 1992 with a Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Sciences. Graduated from the University of Michigan Medical Scool with an M.D. In 1995 Completed a residency in Internal Medicine & Pediatrics from the University of Minnesota Hospitals and Clinics in 1999. Completed a fellowship in Adolescent Medicine in 2002.
