Biography

Johann George Meiser III was born 13 Oct 1774, in Millbach Pennsylvania.[1] He was the son of Johann George Meiser II- George Meiser, and Anna (Strickler) Meiser.
He was married to Elizabeth Keller ca. 1798. She was born January 30, 1779 and died Apr 7, 1855. Children
  1. George Meiser IV (1800-1878)
  2. Maria Catherine Meiser, born Nov 14, 1803;[2] married Samuel Miller.
  3. Levy Meiser (1810-1841)
  4. Eliza Meiser (1812-1874)
  5. Julianna Meiser (1814-1867)
  6. Thomas Meiser Sr. (1822-1851)
Johann George Meiser III became the third successive George to own the original Meiser homestead, having inherited it from his father.[3] He is listed as a Yeoman in the land distribution (Release) on Oct 16, 1793.[3] He was on the Dauphin county Tax list in Heidelberg pennsylvania in1787[4] and 1789.[5]
Johann George Meiser died on October 26, 1826, Heidelberg Dauphin, when he was 52 years old. He was buried in the Millbach Cemetery, in Millbach, Lebanon Co., Pennsylvania.[1]
