Biography
An Obituary in Newcastle Herald dated 19th December, 1952 (Page 6) reads:
"MRS. GEORGINA LAMBERT
The funeral of Mrs. Georgina Lambert was from the Methodist Church, Branxton, to the Methodist Cemetery, East Branxton. She was 54. Mrs. Lambert was born at Lower Belford, and lived most of her life in that district. She had been postmistress at Lower Belford for the past 10 years. She was President of Lower Belford branch of the Country Women's Association, with which she had been associated for many years. She took an active interest in all church matters. especially in the children's Sunday school. She is survived by her husband, Mr. C. K. Lambert, one son, Mr. K. Lambert, and two daughters, Miss Valda Lambert, of Lower Belford, and Mrs. Joyce Martin, of Gloucester."
