Minnie married George Edwin Heggs on the 20th February 1887 in St. Matthew, Ardwick, Manchester [1][2]. They initially set up home in Clowes Str., Chorlton, near George's parents [3]. They moved further north west in Manchester at Prestwich [4] before moving back nearer their origins in east Manchester [5]. They had a large family. After the death of George, Minnie soldiered on alone with her large family [6].
Minnie died on the 10th September 1941 in Manchester. She was aged 73 years 2 months. [7]
