Biography

Patrick was born in 1971 to Patrick Melvin and Mary Spires.

He was married at least twice and had several children.^[1][2][3]

He passed away in 2016 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on 12 Dec 2016. It is not known if he was buried or cremated.^[4]

Patrick Norris Melvin, Jr. March 17, 1971 - December 12, 2016

PATRICK NORRIS MELVIN, JR., 45, passed away from injuries he received in a traffic accident in East Palatka on Monday, December 12, 2016.

Patrick was born in Palatka and lived in Putnam county most of his life. He attended school in Crescent City and worked mostly as a truck driver. He was currently employed by Griswold Concrete in St. Augustine. In his spare time he enjoyed watching N.A.S.C.A.R.. His favorite driver was Dale Earnhart. He also enjoyed fishing, and his beloved college football team, the Georgia Bulldogs.

He is survived by his wife of 4 years, and a son, a daughter, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, 4 stepdaughters and a granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held at Clayton Frank & Biggs Funeral Home on Saturday, December 17th at 2:00 PM with Reverend Karl Wiggins officiating.
