Biography

Cecile Maries Menard was born 9 Nov 1911 in Canada and died 6 Feb 1996 with burial in Calvary Cemetery Crookston, Polk County, Minnesota, USA (PLOT New Addition, Lot 275, Grave 1). She married John M. Kerns (1905–1978).[1][2]

Cecilia Menard (then 8 years) is listed as returning to Canada with Mary Menard (Marie Domithilde Brisson), who is listed as crossing the border into Canada with Albina (19), Fabiola (11), Cecilia (8) & Gerard (3). All are Canadian, and all speak French. Their address is listed as St-Eugene, Canada (presumably St-Eugene de Grantham Parish, Quebec). Mary’s nearest relative is Rebecca _____ in Drummondville, Quebec. They were listed as returning from Crookston, North Dakota (presumably Crookston, Minnesota where Rebecca Menard’s funeral was held - Rebecca died 8 February 1920 near Crookston).[3]
