Joseph Amable Ménard, son of Pierre Jean Menard and Marie Francoise Beaudin,[1] was born on 19 Apr 1754 and baptized the next day by the priest of Immaculée-Conception, St-Ours in St-Ours, Canada, Nouvelle-France. Baptism: April 20, 1754 (Marie Joseph Menard. [2]

Marriage Contract: Feb 28, 1778. Joseph Amble Menard and Marie Josette Bertrand. [3]

He married first Marie Josephe Bertrand on 02 March 1778, in Lachine, Province de Québec.[1]
