Dorothea Fredericke (Mendelssohn) Schlegel is Notable.
Frankfurt am Main (Frankfurt on Main) may have a different state than 'Germany" as Dorthea died there in 1839. Gill-3793 17:13, 17 November 2017 (EST)
1815-1866 Frankfurt am Main was a free city. It was part of "Deutscher Bund" (German Confederation). "Deutscher Bund" was not real state but more like a union of kingdoms and free cities. So I would leave it as "Germany" unless you want to be 100% historical acurate. Erik Pischel 18 Nov 2017
