Richard Mendenhall was born in 1778 and was the son of George Mendenhall and Judith Gardner. Parents names are recorded in the 1812 Quaker Meeting Records[1]
Richard married Mary Pegg on 2 March 1812 in Guilford, North Carolina. Mary was the daughter of Valentine and Mary Pegg.[2]
Richard passed over on 8 May 1851 and is buried in the Deep River Friends Church Cemetery, High Point, Guilford Co., North Carolina. Find A Grave has photos of Richard and his headstone.[3][4]
