Jessie appears on the 1880 census living with her grandparents, widowed father and sister Lois. There is no further information found. it clearly states granddaughter on the census, as well as the Mendenhall.org site.
No further information found though This may be a male as sister Lois was listed as Louis and male. May be the census taker reversed their genders? Still under research
