Biographie
Alexis was born about 1760. He passed away about 1792.
Il "s'est racheté de l'esclavage par son travail et son industrie. Alexis étoit premier sergent d'une compagnie de nègres libres, commandée par le citoyen Charrier."[1][2]
Trainé devant un tribunal vers 1790 sous prétexte d'avoir désobéi des ordres. Apparemment il a été acquitté.[1]
Au cours de procédés, un lieutenant a interjecté qu'Alexis était esclave de son beau-frère, quatre ans auparavant.[1]
S'est suicidé au cours d'une tentative d'arrestation vers 1792.[1]
