Marie Françoise, "fille de Antoine Mini et Jeannette Ladéroute, née le 17ème de juin 1744, vers les 7 heures du matin", est baptisée le jour même à Ste-Anne de Détroit. Son parrain a été le "Sieur Breau, et sa marraine, Françoise Sauvage, sa grand-mère". [1]

She married Jean Baptiste Billaud dit Lespérance, son of Jean Baptiste and Claudine Neveu, on 8 May 1758 in Ste-Anne-de-Détroit. [2]

She and Charles Morand dit Grimard NEVER officially married, but they had at least three illegitimate children, from 1773 through 1776 while she was still married to Jean Baptiste Billaud dit Lesperance. Pierre, "fils adultérin de Françoise Meny, femme de Lespérance Billou" est baptisé le 5 décembre 1776 à Ste-Anne de Détroit. "Le père de l'enfant nous est inconnu". Son parrain a été Pierre Gatignon Duchesne, et sa marraine, Jeanne Billou dit Lespérance. [3]

On 4 February 1788, "Marie Anne (sic) Miny, widow of Jean Baptiste Lespérance, daughter of Sieur Antoine Miny and the late Jeanne Séguin" married Michel Houde, son of Michel and Marie Lemay in Ste-Anne de Détroit. [4]

According to this Family Tree on Genealogieonline, she passed away 5 March 1812 and was buried 2 days later in Detroit, Wayne, Michigan, United States.
