Birth Alexander Menzies was christened on 26 Mar 1738 in Dull, Perthshire, Scotland.[1] He was the son of Duncan Menzies and Katrin Monro.
Marriage On the 19 August 1758, Alexander Menzies married Janet Cameron at Dull Parish, Perthshire, Scotland.[2] They had seven children in 14 years.
Residences in Scotland On 2 November, 1767, Alexander was in rehabilitation at the Royal Chelsea Hospital, Chelsea, London, England.[3] He was part of the 42nd Regiment of Foot. He had been diagnosed as - Worn out. The record states he was born at Dunkeld, Perthshire and he had worked as a Labourer.
Death It is believed that Alexander died in Scotland.
