Robert Menzies placed this stone in memory of Margaret Buchanan his spouse who died 6th August 1807 aged 35 years. And to his children Catherine died 6 Dec 1802, Helen 5 Jan 1816, John 20 Jan 1830, Archibald 6 May 1832, Stewart 16 May 1834, Alexander 5 Feb 1836, Robert 13 Jul 1839, James 2 Jan 1841, Margaret 12 Feb 1854. Robert Menzies Snr. died 24 Aug 1843 aged 82.
