Mary's maiden name is given as Mary Black in the description of great-granddaughter Augusta Josephine Trammell. [1]
There is also a latter-day monument erected to her at Hot House Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Fannin County, Georgia that shows her name as "Mary M. B. Fain." The monument shows her date of birth as 25 Dec 1762 and her date of death as 11 Feb 1846. [2]
