Biography
Mercer, Gerald Hubert- Age 65 years, (March 9th, 1941 - September 5th, 2006). Died after a lengthy battle with cancer. Predeceased by his father, Joseph and brother David. Leaving to mourn wife Rowena, Mother Marion Mercer; three children: Craig (Donna), Rodney(Tammy), Cory (Joanne); two sisters: Sandra (Leonard), Lorriane (Ralph); two brothers: George and Bill; three grandchildren: Brook, Kyle and Robert. Resting at Barrett'r Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Wednesday and Thursday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.. Funeral service on Friday September 8, 2006 at 11 a.m. from barrett's Chapel with internment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Rd. As expressions of sympathy flowers are being gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer care Center.
