Phebe was a Friend (Quaker)
Phebe was born on 15 MAY 1790 in Chester County, Pennsylvania, USA and she was a daughter of Soloman and Abigail (Sharpless or Sharples) Mercer. [NOTE: Abigail was Soloman's second wife, after Olive (Pyle) Mercer (daughter of John Pyle) who died in 3 FEB 1780 per Quaker Kennett MM records. Olive and Soloman had three children: Rachel (b 13 JUL 1766), Daniel (b 15 MAR 1768) and John (b 8 APR 1775).]
