In 1891, 20 year old unmarried Elizabeth is living in York House, Upper York Street Bristol with her parents[4].
In 1901, 25 year old unmarried Elizabeth is living in 41 Pier Street, Plymouth with her family[5]
In 1911, "29" year old unmarried Elizabeth is living with her widowed father in 11 Carlisle Street, Plymouth[6]
"Elsie" Hambling Merrick, aged "46" (her actual age would have been 52) married 72 year old widower Thomas Coombe in 1919 in St. Andrews Church, Plymouth. At the time of her marriage, Elizabeth was living in 11 Carlisle Avenue, Plymouth[7]
The death of Elizabeth H Coombe at age 79 (her correct age) was recorded in Plymouth in the first quarter of 1946[8]

Although named as Elsie in the marriage record, Elsie's father is named as Robert William, the middle name Hambling ties her to her mother (maiden name) and later Elizabeth's sister names Elizabeth Hambling Coombe in her probate record.
