Ada M. Merril was born on May 10, 1867 at Newbury, Vermont. Ada is the daughter of Charles Merrill and Mary Jane Leete.

Ada marries to Frank Charles (F.C.) Gould on January 13, 1886 at Wentworth, Grafton County, New Hampshire. Frank Charles Gould was born on May 14, 1861 at Piermont, New Hampshire, USA. F.C. is the son of Henry Gould and Mahala Amanda Ford.

Charlie changed his name to Frank "FC" Gould. He started the Silver Lane Pickle Company in East Hartford, CT in 1888, according to family records.

Ada dies on February 6, 1930 at Hampton, Florida. F.C. dies on February 25, 1936 at East Hartford, Connecticut.
