Biography

Ida was born in 1872. She was the daughter of Adelbert Merrill and Malvina Hugoboom.

She was living with her parents and sister Nettie in Perrysburg, Cattaraugus county, New York in 1875 and 1880.^[1][2]

She married Charles Bernett on 10 Nov 1895 at Gowanda, Chautauqua county, New York.^[3] They had a large family.

They lived in Villenova, Chautauqua county, New York. They were residing there in 1910, 1920, and 1930.^[4][5][6]

Her husband passed away in 1936. In 1940, she was living with her son Adelbert Bernett in the Hamlet section of Villenova.^[7]

She passed away in 1954 at her home at Villenova, Chautauqua, New York.^[8] She was buried in Villenova cemetery in that town.^[9]
