Biography

Sarah was born in 1772, daughter of John Merritt (1748–1825) and Sarah Miller (1749–1820).

She married Zeben "Zabad" Case (1772–1836).

In 1817, Zabad petitioned the Hartford Court for a divorce from Sarah on the grounds of desertion.[1]

She passed away in 1870. Buried at Barkhamsted Center Cemetery, Barkhamsted, Litchfield County, Connecticut.
