Biography

Sarget was born about 1765 in NC. He was married abt 1785. His known children were Frederick, Lydia, George, John, Thomas, Soloman, Christian S. "Jackson" and David Messer, though there were possibly others. He passed away about 1845. The name of his wife is unknown. There has been much confusion over the years between the records for himself, his son Christian S. "Jackson Messer, and a Christian Messer who lived in Hawkins Co, NC.
