Biography
Margaret Metcalf was born 14 Aug and baptized 25 Aug 1831 in Monquhitter, the daughter of Thomas Metcalf and Margaret Webster[1]. In the 1841 census,9 year old Margaret is living with her parents and siblings Alexr 7, James 4 and Thomas age 1 in the Village of Garmond in Monquhitter. In the 1851 census, still at Garmond, Margaret now 18, a House Servant is living with her parents and siblings Thomas 11 and Francis 9.
