Agatha was born on 20 Jan 1879. She passed away in 1956.

In 1911, Agatha was living at Berry Creek, Alberta. After her husband's death, she applied for homestead entry on August 7, 1911, for the SE 4-28-11W4, south of Youngstown, declaring that she was a "widow with five children, aged 13, 11, 8, 4, and 1 years respectively, all of whom are dependent on me for support." Her application shows she was born in Ontario, and last place of residence was Penn, Ramsey County, North Dakota, occupation, Farmer.

The 1916 Alberta Bow River census division census shows Agatha, widow, living with her children: Peter (17) Lizzie (12), Rosie (9), born in the U.S.A., and Leo (6), born in Alberta.


The 1900 census in Dry Lake Twp, Ramsey County, North Dakota shows Anton Welzbacher, b. April 1873 in Germany, living with his wife, Aggie, b. Jan. 1879 in Canada, along with their son, Peter, b. May 1899 in North Dakota. Marriage year shown as 1899. Townships 27, 28, 29 and 30, ranges 12, 13 and 14, W. 4. M.

The 1900 census in Dry Lake Twp, Ramsey County, North Dakota shows Ayton Welzbacher, b. April 1877 in Germany, living with his wife, Aggie, b. Jan. 1879 in Canada, . Marriage year shown as 1899. Agatha and Anton moved to Berry Creek where Anton Died. later Agatha and 5 children moved to Cornation, AB, then to New Norway, AB where her Son Leo farmed.She lived there until she became sick and was sent to Edmonton where Agatha died
