Wilhelm Friedrich Meyer was born on February 11, 1865, in Marquette, Wisconsin. He married Wilhelmine Ernestine "Minnie" Schultz on March 14, 1888, in his hometown. They had four children during their marriage. He died on May 7, 1941, in Neshkoro, Wisconsin, at the age of 76, and was buried there.[1]
