Margaret Mary "Peggy" Smith, 71, of Los Osos died Monday March 1, 1993 at her residence

Rosary will be recited Wednesday at 7 pm at Los Osos Valley Mortuary Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10 am at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Los Osos with the Rev. James Frerkes officiating. Burial will follow at Los Osos Valley Memorial Park

Mrs. Smith was bom Nov. 2, 1921 in Los Angeles where she was raised and educated. The family moved to Los Osos from La Crescenta in 1979.

In addition to being a homemaker Mrs. Smith was also a member of the St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Los Osos and the Legion of Mary.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years Justin H. Smith of Los Osos and a cousin James Lawler of Los Angeles.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by a daughter Joan Mary Smith.
