Giuseppe Miata is born around 1822 in Corleone, the son of Don Gioachino Miata and Donna Rosa Sangiorgi.
Don Giuseppe marries Donna Giovanna Pomara, daughter of the late Don Vincenzo Pomara and the living Donna Leoluchina Bonfiglio, on 3 February 1858.[1]
Giuseppe and Giovanna have at least one child, Giacomo (1860).
Giacomo is born 17 October 1860 in his parents' home in largo Annunzziato, Corleone. His birth is reported by the midwife. His mother, Donna Teresa Giovanna, is 30 (b. 1830). His father, Don Giuseppe, is 38 (b. 1822), a civile (landowner).[2]
Giacomo marries Giuseppa Colletti on 20 October 1887 in Corleone. It is the first marriage for either of them. His parents are both still living.[3][4]
